Aim and Scope

Mission

Journal of Artificial Intelligence in Education & Learning Innovation (JAIELI) is published three times a year, in April, August, and December of each year. JAIELI publishes original scientific papers, review papers, editorials, short reports, peer review - fair review, as well as invited papers and award papers in the fields of artificial intelligence in education, as well as it can function as an open discussion forum on significant issues of current interest.

Focus and Scope

JAIELI publishes papers concerned with the application of AI to education. It aims to help the development of principles for the design of computer-based learning systems. Its premise is that such principles involve the modelling and representation of relevant aspects of knowledge, before implementation or during execution, and hence require the application of AI techniques and concepts. JAIELI has a very broad notion of the scope of AI and of a 'computer-based learning system', as indicated by the following list of topics considered to be within the scope of JAIELI:

    • AI-driven Learning Systems
    • Personalized Education and Adaptive Learning
    • Intelligent Tutoring Systems
    • AI in Educational Assessment
    • Data Analytics in Education
    • Educational Robotics
    • Machine Learning in Classroom Environments
