JSE Website Refresh and Updated Author Guidelines

The Journal of Science and Education (JSE) introduces a refreshed website design and updated author guidance to improve navigation and clarify the journal's submission and publication requirements.

What Has Been Updated?
  • Website and journal identity: A modern education-inspired design with updated navigation and cover artwork.
  • Author Guidelines: Clarified manuscript formatting, preparation of anonymous review files, and required declarations.
  • CRediT Author Contributions: Guidance for describing each author's contribution using standard contributor roles.
  • Disclosure Statement: Instructions for declaring relevant financial and non-financial competing interests.
  • AI Policy: Guidance on responsible AI use, disclosure, human accountability, and confidentiality.
  • Publication policies: Revised information on publication ethics, plagiarism assessment, copyright, open access, and licensing.
Information for Authors

Before making a new submission, please read the updated Author Guidelines and use the official JSE manuscript template. Prepare an anonymous main manuscript and a separate title page containing author information.

Include an Author Contributions statement using CRediT, a Disclosure Statement, and the other declarations applicable to your study. Report AI use where required by the journal's AI Policy.

Authors with manuscripts already under consideration should follow the handling editor's instructions. There is no need to start a new submission solely because of this website update.
